Calling performers for Nutley Little Theatre’s 3rd Annual Say Gay Cabaret
Are you a talented vocalist or drag artist ready to shine on stage? Join us for auditions for our 3rd Annual Say Gay Cabaret, taking place for one night only on Sunday, June 23rd at 7:30 p.m.
Audition Details:
For Vocalists:
- Submission Method: Send a self-tape audition of any song to saygaycabaret@gmail.com.
- Deadline: Auditions accepted until Sunday, May 26th.
- Requirements: Your audition piece does not need to be your Cabaret song.
- Note: Vocalists are welcome to perform in drag.
For Drag Artists:
- Submission Method: Send a self-tape audition of any lip-syncing or live song, plus any photos in full makeup, to saygaycabaret@gmail.com.
- Deadline: Auditions accepted until Sunday, May 26th.
- Requirements: Your audition piece does not need to be your Cabaret performance.
- Note: Drag artists may perform live or lip sync.
General Requirements:
- All performers must be 18 years old or older.
- Each vocalist will perform a maximum of two songs. These songs must either celebrate the queer community or gender bend a song.
- All performers must provide their own accompanying tracks.
- 20% of the proceeds from the show will be donated to Nutley Pride.
