Casting Call For a short film “Our memories of yesterday”
A student short film about a woman, Margaret, who loses her husband of 40 years to illness. She returns to her house and attempts to carry on with her life, whilst being constantly reminded of the loss she has suffered. Haunted by the memories she falls into a dream like state where she is forced to face her forgotten memories and met with the choice of living or reuniting with her husband Charles.
We are looking for actors who suit the descriptions below.
YOUNG CHARLES (LEAD)
(playing age 18-25)
A compassionate, charismatic and selfless man who is Margaret’s other half. He does his best to support and protect her through the ups and downs of life they experience together.
OLD CHARLES (1 DAY SHOOT)
(playing age 55-75)
Ideally, we would like this character to be similar to Young Charles visually, preferably with grey hair, however we are open to casting.
Filming will be based in the Windermere/Ambleside area in the Lake District As this is a student film, both roles will be unpaid.
Filming will take place between 29th April and 23rd May.
