Theater Auditions in Atlanta and Macon, Georgia for “Colorblind”

The renowned Off-Broadway production, COLORBLIND, is coming to the historic Douglass Theatre in Macon, GA.

Auditions will be held shortly for roles in the play.  The production is on the lookout for talented actors to fill two pivotal male roles for three performances this April.

Rehearsals will be held in Atlanta, Georgia and Macon, Georgia, making this an excellent opportunity for local talent.

This paid, non-union theater stage production delves into the complex issue of racial inequality in America through the compelling narrative of Mr. Clinton Muhammad, the enigmatic leader of the Minority Empowerment Movement. As his beliefs are put to the test by a life-altering event, the play explores the possibility of a truly “colorblind” society, prompting audiences to reflect deeply on this pressing issue. We are currently casting for the roles of Rasheed Alan, a young member of the movement grappling with his past, and Marcus Reed, an elder statesman deeply rooted in the civil rights era.
