A new Tyler Perry movie is now filming and there is an extras call in Atlanta.
The project is looking for Atlanta area residents who would like to work as paid movie extras on Tyler Perry’s new film.
“Joy Ridge” follows the journey of Joy, a successful fashion designer, who eagerly awaits a Christmas proposal. However, her plans take an unexpected turn amidst the breathtaking mountains of Wyoming. Here, amidst the serene beauty of nature, Joy discovers the true meaning of love and companionship. After discovering that her beloved considers her his best friend and introduces her to his fiancée, Joy finds herself fleeing his ranch during a snowstorm. Lost in the wintry landscape, she encounters a charming stranger who becomes more than just a passing figure in her life.

Scenes will shoot in DOWNTOWN ATLANTA, GA.
*This scene is set in a contemporary, FASHIONABLE workplace – think NEW YORK FASHION DISTRICT, hip and young work environment in 2024! So please consider that with your looks when applying for this casting.

The rate for extras on this production is $100 for 8hrs of work (Paid time in a half each hour after 8hrs), This does not mean $100 an hour. You will receive this pay in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
