Video auditions are now being accepted for Universal’s Epic Universe in Orlando. Performers are invited to submit audition videos online to be considered for jobs at the highly anticipated new addition to the Universal theme parks.
Universal’s Epic Universe is a new addition to the Universal Orlando Resort, set to expand the entertainment offerings in Central Florida. This new theme park is expected to feature an array of immersive lands, cutting-edge attractions, and experiences that showcase beloved intellectual properties. While specific details about the individual lands and attractions were not fully disclosed at the time of my last update, Universal had mentioned that the park would include attractions based on popular franchises, promising an unparalleled level of storytelling and innovation.

Video Audition Instructions
The video background should be a solid color wall or backdrop for the audition slate and recorded with full-length of the body in the frame of the shot.
State your first and last name and height.
ACTORS: Perform a one-minute comedic monologue and a demonstration of any proficient dialects.
ACTOR/MUSICIAN: Perform a one-minute comic monologue and 16 measures of your choice of violin, percussion, or unique instrument in a genre of your choice.
DANCERS: Submit a one-minute jazz combination and dance reel if available.
DRUMMERS: Submit 16 measures of drumming on a single drum.
PUPPETEERS: Experienced puppeteers with a variety of puppet styles including but not limited to full-body, large-scale, animatronic, and animation puppetry. For video, after slating give a brief synopsis of experience. Submit a demo of your body of work puppeteering.
SINGERS: Candidates are required to be 5’5” to 6’ for these roles. Perform 16 bars of a musical theater or opera selection.
ANIMATED SHOW/ATMOSPHERE PERFORMER: Seeking candidates 4’2”-4’8”, 4’10”-5’2”, 5’6-5’8”, and 5’10”-6’ in height. After slating with name and height, Perform a slow 360-degree full turn with arms bent up at a 90-degree angle then strike 3 distinct character poses with varying levels, for example standing, crouching, squatting.
