Once Upon a Christmas in Puerto Rico – Trenton, New Jersey
Written and directed by Edna E. Roman, is casting for a key role in its upcoming holiday stage play.
The production is seeking a Spanish-speaking male child actor to portray a young Puerto Rican boy.
The role calls for a male child between the ages of 9 and 12 who is of Puerto Rican descent. The character should be fluent in Spanish, though bilingual ability is considered a plus. The creative team is looking for someone who is not too tall, with a tan to darker complexion to authentically represent the role.
This stage production celebrates Puerto Rican culture, traditions, and family during the holiday season. Performances will be held in December 2025 at the New Jersey State Museum Auditorium in Trenton, New Jersey, with rehearsals beginning in the fall.
