The show, based on the animated series by Stephen Hillenburg, features a book by Kyle Jarrow and songs by artists such as Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco, John Legend, Lady A, and more. Conceived by Tina Landau, the production has become a popular choice for community theatres across North America.
