Productions of popular TV shows Chicago PD and Chicago Med are in production for the new 2025 season.
The show generally casts stand ins, photo doubles and extras from in and around the Chicago area.
NBC’s “One Chicago” franchise, featuring “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” and “Chicago P.D.,” continues to film in Chicago, bringing authentic, city-based drama to audiences. A recent casting call has been announced for stand-ins and extras to join the set of “Chicago Fire.”

“Chicago P.D.,” an essential piece of the franchise, premiered in 2014 and centers on the Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department, helmed by the determined Sergeant Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe. Known for its realistic portrayal of crime-solving, the series dives deep into the lives of officers as they face high-stakes cases, complex moral choices, and deeply personal struggles. It highlights the challenges of law enforcement in a gritty, dynamic city while exploring the bonds and conflicts within the team. “Chicago P.D.” has gained acclaim for its diverse cast, intense storytelling, and willingness to address the gray areas of police work.

Role: We are looking for a CAUCASIAN MALE and CAUCASIAN FEMALE, 40’S, to play a featured couple that are the victims of a home robbery. You will have SPFX blood applied to you, as well as some possible prosthetic wound pieces.
MEN: Must be comfortable being shirtless. You will appear to have been shot in bed, so you’ll be in pajama pants or shorts, but no shirt. It’s very important that you let us know if you have any tattoos on your upper body, so please send photos of where they are located.
WARDROBE FITTING: Weds 1/29 (9 or 9:30am)
FILMING: Friday 1/31
PAY: $200/8 + $25 fitting bump
WOMEN: Must be comfortable having your bare back exposed. You will have modesty pieces covering your front, and it will be a limited cast and crew on set. You won’t even be in the same room as the background husband that we’re casting. It’s very important that you let us know if you have any tattoos on your upper body, so please send photos of where they are located.
WARDROBE FITTING: Weds 1/29 (9 or 9:30am)
FILMING: Friday 1/31
PAY: $300/8 + $25 fitting bump
SUBJECT LINE: SUSPECT SEARCH
ROLE: We are looking for CAUCASIAN MEN IN THEIR 50’S to come in and take a mugshot to be used in the photo array that the police show a witness to identify a suspect.
This is going to be super fast – you’ll come in, stand on the mark, the photographer will snap your photo and you’re done. Since this will take very little time, the mugshot photos are being paid at a flat rate of $50, and you’ll be at the studio less than an hour.
