Salt Lake City Open Call for Dancers and Vocalists on September 9, 2025

Performers in Utah have the chance to showcase their talent at a major open call in Salt Lake City this September. Casting directors are seeking dancers, vocalists, and singer/dancers for upcoming professional opportunities.  Please note that the company is seeking performers, singers and dancers who are able to take on performer contracts at sea for extended periods of time where those hired for the on board shows, will be travelling. Auditions are being held for Oceania CruisesNorwegian Cruise Line, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Auditions will take place at Millennium Dance Complex SLC, 602 E 500 S D141A, Salt Lake City, UT 84102, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. No pre-registration is required — all talent will be seen in the order they arrive.

Auditions:

September 9th, 2025

Dancer Call:
Sign-in at 9:00 AM, auditions begin at 9:30 AM.

Vocalist Call:
Sign-in at 1:00 PM, auditions begin at 1:30 PM.

Seeking: Production Dancers

Female-identifying: 5’3–5’9

Male-identifying: 5’9–6’2

All ethnicities, 18+
Strong, athletic dancers with excellent technique and the ability to adapt across styles, including commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Tap experience is a plus. Female-identifying dancers should be prepared to dance in both heels and flats. All dancers must be ready to learn multiple combinations.

Singers:

Tenor/Baritenor Vocalists

Male-identifying, 20s–30s, 5’8–6’2, all ethnicities.
Dynamic singers with bari-tenor/tenor range and strong pop/rock, R&B, and Motown sensibility. Must move very well, with stylistic references such as Bruno Mars, Elton John, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, and Stevie Wonder.

Mezzo/Belter Vocalists

Female-identifying, 20s–30s, 5’3–5’9, all ethnicities.
Powerful mezzos with a commanding stage presence, strong belt up to F5, and the ability to navigate multiple genres. Must move very well, with stylistic references including Little Mix, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, Tina Turner, and Adele.

Vocalists should prepare two songs from the provided selection, bring a current headshot and resume, and be ready to stay for a dance segment if invited. Form-fitting dancewear (and heels for female-identifying performers) is required for the dance portion.

Singer/Dancers

Female-identifying: 5’3–5’9

Male-identifying: 5’9–6’2

All ethnicities, 20s–30s
Versatile performers with strong dance ability and confident vocals, including harmonies, solos, and featured parts. Singer/dancers must first complete the production dancer call. Those who pass will receive callback instructions for a vocal self-tape.

All performers must be at least 18 years old.
