The inspiring and little-known true story behind MercyMe’s beloved, chart-topping song I Can Only Imagine is getting a sequel.
Titled I Can Only Imagine 2, the follow-up is currently filming in the Nashville, TN area, and locals have the opportunity to apply for small roles in the production and no acting or extras experience is required.
The song, which has provided hope and inspiration to countless listeners, serves as a powerful reminder of the strength found in true forgiveness. According to IMDB, the sequel will focus on Bart Millard, the lead singer of MercyMe, as he faces a personal crisis at the height of his success. As his world begins to unravel, he grapples with his faith and inner demons while searching for a way forward.
The film is currently in production and is expected to be released in theaters in 2026.

$100.00** for 8 hours ($12.50 per hour & 8 hour guarantee) + time and a half after 8 hours. Must be able to commit to being on set 12+ hours. We may not need you that long, but must be able to commit regardless of call time. I will not have the call time until the afternoon prior. If your schedule is not completely open for that day and night, please DO NOT SUBMIT.
