The Junkyard Haunted House is gearing up for Halloween.
They will be holding an open call this week for area locals who would like a seasonal job working as scare actors. Would you like to make some extra cash by dressing up in costumes and trying to scare people? If so, this gig may be right up your alley.
The Junkyard Haunted House in Fort Worth is hiring scare actors for the 2025 Halloween season. Locals with a flair for costumes and a love of spooky fun are invited to audition at an open call this week. The job pays $100 cash per night for about 4–5 hours of work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, running from October 3 through October 31.
Actors will get to join in the Halloween spirit, provide some chills to guests, and enjoy free drinks during their shifts.
Interviews will be held Thursday, September 18, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at 2423 Chester Street, Fort Worth.
