Dance auditions for kids – Louisville Ballet’s Ballet Bound Program for 2025–2026
The Louisville Ballet is now accepting auditions for its acclaimed Ballet Bound program, an initiative designed to make professional ballet training accessible to young students across the city.
Open Ballet Auditions will be held in various public spaces across the Louisville, Kentucky area. You may see the schedule of the ballet audition tour below. No prior ballet dance experience is needed.
Ballet Bound offers a full year of tuition-free dance education to 20 selected students, ages 7–9, including uniforms and supplies. Classes take place at the Louisville Ballet’s downtown studio.
Created to eliminate common barriers to arts education, Ballet Bound meets families where they are—holding auditions directly in local neighborhood parks. This community-focused approach ensures every child has the chance to discover their talent and passion for dance.
