Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for real salsa dancers to appear as background talent in the upcoming feature film “Here Comes the Flood.“
“Here Comes The Flood” is currently filming in New York. The movie, a high-energy heist romance set against the backdrop of a massive, city-paralyzing storm, brings together an ensemble of characters whose lives intersect during a high-stakes theft planned to unfold while the city is distracted by an unprecedented weather event.
The casting team with GWC, is seeking men and women with real salsa dancing experience.
Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for January 12 & 13, with fittings taking place December seventeen and eighteen in Carlstadt, New Jersey.
Please note that no travel is being paid and you must live in the NY/NJ area in order to be considered.

Filming will also occur in Carlstadt for an interior day scene requiring continuity with wardrobe.
This project falls under the SAG-AFTRA background contract, offering a rate of two hundred thirty-four dollars for eight hours of work, plus a quarter check for the fitting. Talent must be able to present valid identification to complete hiring paperwork. Those who have already worked on this production are asked not to resubmit, and all height, weight, and sizing information will be used strictly for costuming unless needed for stand-ins or photodoubles.
Experienced salsa dancers who are interested and available are encouraged to submit as soon as possible for consideration.
