Brooklynettes Announce Open Call Auditions for 2025 NBA Season
Brooklyn’s premier NBA dance team, the Brooklynettes, are searching for the next wave of elite dancers to join their iconic squad for the upcoming Brooklyn Nets season. Known for electrifying performances at every home game in Barclays Center and appearances at high-profile events across the country, the Brooklynettes represent the pinnacle of professional sports dance teams.
Auditions will kick off with an open call on Saturday, July 13, at 9:30 a.m. at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Dancers aged 18 and up are invited to attend — no registration is required in advance. Participants should arrive in full glam and form-fitting dance attire, ready to showcase their skills and star power.

CASTING NOTICE: BROOKLYNETTES DANCE TEAM – OPEN CALL AUDITIONS

Dancers should arrive in form-fitting dance attire and full glam, ready to impress with performance, personality, and presence. Prepare to learn choreography and showcase your skills for a panel of celebrity judges and Brooklynettes alumni.
What to Expect at the Dance Auditions:
The first day will feature a heels routine choreographed by Melissa BeCraft, former Brooklynettes head captain. Celebrity judges for the day include Miles Keeney, Jona Biddle, Hollywood, and Fatima Wilson. Those who advance will move on to callbacks held at St. Joseph’s College, where candidates will undergo interviews and learn an “athletic combo” — a high-energy, technically challenging routine that reflects the demands of the Brooklynettes’ fast-paced performances.
The multi-day audition process culminates with the selection of the 22-person dance team. Finalists will perform in front of another star-studded panel of judges including Tanisha Scott, Charles Smith, Ms. Wy, and Olutayo.
