Get on a family game show Scrambled Up – New family friendly word game needs contestants in Atlanta.
Wordplay Meets Big Winnings: New Game Show Scrambled Up!
A brand-new game show is ready to twist your brain and test your reflexes, all in under 30 minutes. Scrambled Up! is the latest high-energy wordplay competition from prolific game show creators Dave Noll and Cleve Keller, the duo behind hits like Chopped, America Says, and Flip Side.
The show centers on a deceptively simple challenge: Can you quickly unscramble jumbled words? Four players go head-to-head in a race to solve colorful, animated word puzzles as the scrambled letters gradually shift into place. With fast-paced clues and rising stakes, Scrambled Up! combines brainpower with split-second decision-making.
Be sure to check the game show auditions pages for more opportunities to get on a game show.
So, the show challenges people to unscramble some scrambled words and (according to producers) a wrong guess knocks you out of that round, so players have to be strategic.
Scrambled Up is now casting Atlanta area locals.. and it looks like they will be needing many locals as the current information states that they have an order of 130 episodes…yep, 130. Now, that 130 episode number seems really, really, high for a new show, but that is the reporting according to Forbes.
Seems that this will be a syndicated show, so it will run across multiple platforms and may air daily, which would explain the large number of episodes. Other daily running game shows such as price is right, wheel of fortune, family feud etc. also have many episodes and as such…are always casting. You may check those ongoing casting calls out on our game show pages.
The game:
- Round One: All four players compete to unscramble seven word puzzles, each worth 100 points.
- Round Two: The puzzles get tougher — and more valuable. Each correct answer earns 250 points. At the end of the round, the lowest-scoring player is eliminated.
- Round Three: It’s a speed round. The three remaining players race against a three-minute clock to solve as many scrambled words and phrases as they can.
- Bonus Round: The top scorer takes on a final 60-second challenge. If they unscramble all three puzzles, they walk away with $10,000. Solving two nets them $1,000.
Oddly, the shows co-producer, Dave Bulhack, called “Scrambled Up!” very snackable. I have no idea what a snackable game show may be, but here is his quote… “The episodes are very snackable — you can jump in at any point.”
