Sacramento Open Call for Dancers and Vocalists — September 4, 2025
Norwegian, Regent and Oceanic Cruises will be holding open auditions for singers and dancers who live near the Sacramento, California area.
Sacramento performers are invited to audition for an exciting upcoming production on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Sacramento Dance Lab, 1807 Tribute Rd, Sacramento, CA 95815. Open calls will be held for both dancers and vocalists, with no pre-registration required. Talent will be seen in the order of arrival.
Open auditions for cruise lines:
Dancer Call
Sign-in begins at 9:00 AM, with auditions starting at 9:30 AM.
Production dancers should demonstrate strong athleticism, technique, and versatility across commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop styles, with tap as a plus. Female-identifying dancers (5’3”–5’9”) must be prepared to dance in both heels and flats. Male-identifying dancers (5’9”–6’2”) should come ready to learn multiple combinations.
Vocalist Call
Sign-in begins at 1:00 PM, with auditions starting at 1:30 PM.
Vocalists must prepare two songs from the provided list (link available at audition), and bring a current headshot and resume.

Tenor/Baritenor vocalists (20s–30s, 5’8”–6’2”) should demonstrate dynamic pop/rock, R&B, and Motown sensibility with strong movement ability. Vocal styling references include Bruno Mars, Elton John, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, and Stevie Wonder.
Mezzo/belter vocalists (20s–30s, 5’3”–5’9”) should showcase a powerful belt up to F5 with strong contemporary musical theatre and pop/rock flair. Vocal styling references include Little Mix, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, Tina Turner, and Adele.
Select vocalists may be asked to stay and dance, so form-fitting dancewear (and heels for female-identifying vocalists) is recommended.

Singer/Dancers
Exceptional dancers who can sing harmonies, solos, and features confidently are also encouraged to attend. Singer/dancers must first complete the production dancer call, and those advancing will receive callback instructions with vocal materials.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
