Casting call in Fort Myers, Florida for a travel app commercial seeking real local families.
This project is looking for authentic family units of all ethnicities and types, offering each selected family member a rate of $300 minus agency fee. Filming will take place on one day between January 29 and February 2, and all bookings will be made through self-taped auditions. While this is a non-union project and a local hire booking, a courtesy hotel in Fort Myers may be available if needed.
Casting is focused on two distinct family types. Family 1 is a multigenerational household made up of real family members, including grandparents in their 60s to 70s who are active, energetic, and able to keep pace with younger relatives. The parents may include either or both mom and dad, ideally in their late 30s to early 50s. Children should be between 8 and 13 years old, and any ethnicity or mixed background is welcome as long as all members are real relatives.
Family 2 is a traditional family unit with parents in their late 30s to 50s and two children between 8 and 13. The kids may be two boys, two girls, or one of each, and the team is flexible with slight age variations. Additional siblings are also welcome if they are part of the real family.

Family 1 — (Multigenerational)
MUST BE REAL FAMILY MEMBERS
GRANDPARENTS (can be 2 Grandmothers, or One Grandmother and one Grandfather) Age range 60’s-70’s. The REAL Grandparents of the REAL Family.
GRANDPARENTS should be in good shape, Youthful, active, able to keep up with the younger generation of family members.
PARENTS Can be Mom OR Dad OR Both – later 30’s-early 50’s.
KIDS – 8-13 years old (Can be a boy or a girl or both) ANY Ethnicity or ANY ethnic Mix as long as
they are REAL family members.
FAMILY 2 — (Family with Children)
REAL Family.
PARENTS late 30’s-40’s-50’s, – 2 parents, can be a Mother and Father. KIDS – looking for 2 children. they can be 2 Boys, 2 Girls, or one of each. They are between the ages of 8-13. can go a little older or younger than these ages. If the Family has another child, welcome also.
