Auditions Coming to Dublin for Norwegian Cruise Line’s Rock Show “Syd Norman’s Pour House”
Get ready to rock, Dublin! NCLH Shows & Experiences, in partnership with Debbie O’Brien Casting, is holding auditions by appointment only on July 5 and July 7 in Dublin, Ireland for the hit musical experience Syd Norman’s Pour House, currently featured aboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships.
About the show:
From the original creative team behind Broadway’s Rock of Ages, Syd Norman’s Pour House is a high-octane, interactive rock show that transports audiences to the Sunset Strip, celebrating the music of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. With a cast that doubles as both powerhouse vocalists and cheeky improv performers, the production is a full-blown rock ‘n’ roll party at sea. Auditions for the following performers:
Producers are seeking Mezzo-Belters, Rock Tenors, and Singer/Guitarists (ages 20s–30s, all ethnicities). Ideal candidates should embody an authentic rocker vibe with a vocal range and stage presence to match the energy of the era. Think powerhouse belts, gritty rock vocals, and a command of harmonies. Improv chops, comedic timing, and comfort interacting with audiences are a must.
Vocal inspirations include legends like Freddie Mercury, Tina Turner, Stevie Nicks, David Bowie, Linda Ronstadt, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, and the band Heart. Bonus points for performers with knowledge of old-school rap and the ability to blend hip-hop into rock medleys.

Contract Details:
Principal rate: $1,200/week minimum
Union/Non-Union
Approx. 6-month onboard contract with an additional 2–3 weeks of rehearsal
Travel and housing provided
Performance schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off
Performances include singing leads and harmonies, improv comedy, and audience interaction
