Background Extras for MTV Series in Atlanta, GA
On Location Casting is now seeking new faces to appear as paid background extras for an upcoming MTV series filming in the Atlanta, GA area. Casting is open to non-union talent only, and all applicants must be local to Atlanta as no travel or accommodations will be provided.
Extras are needed for one day only, either Monday, June 2 or Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Exact call times are not yet confirmed, so applicants should have full availability for the entire day and evening. These will not be overnight shoots.
The rate is $100 for up to 8 hours, with overtime paid after 8 hours (though most extras will likely work less than 8 hours and still receive full pay).
Roles include a variety of featured background characters such as shoppers, restaurant patrons, truck drivers, business professionals, and warehouse workers. Wardrobe requirements vary by scene, and talent must provide and wear their own appropriate clothing.

Location: ATLANTA, GA area –MUST be able to work in the ATLANTA area as a LOCAL HIRE!! (Transportation/Accommodation will not be provided)
DATES NEEDED: MONDAY 6/2 –OR- TUESDAY 6/3 (*would only work ONE of these dates)—we do NOT have exact Call/Wrap times, so you should have FULL day/evening available to allow for whatever the Call Time ends up being. Some call times MAY be in the late afternoon/evening, but they will not be overnight shoots

BACKGROUND Rates of PAY: -Filming: $100.00 for up to 8 hours guarantee – plus OT after 8 hours (you will likely work less than 8 hours but will still be paid the full 8 hour rate)ROLES: **FEATURED BACKGROUND** (small scenes)
MONDAY 6/2/25
–SHOPPING CENTER: (4) Patrons shopping in a department store. Any age, any race, dressed in casual everyday clothing.
–CLOTHING BOUTIQUE: (4) Patrons shopping in a boutique. 20-30s, any race, dress in cute errands day clothing.
–FAST FOOD RESTAURANT: (4) Patrons picking up food from a take out restaurant. Any age, any race, dressed in casual everyday clothing.
TUESDAY 6/3/25
–TRUCK FACILITY: (4) Truck Drivers with various ages and ethnicities; should look like working-class professionals. They will be seen walking in/out of the office, getting into trucks, or moving around the dock area to make the facility look active and believable.Wardrobe Note: All extras should arrive dressed in THEIR OWN realistic trucking or warehouse attire (e.g. work boots, jeans, baseball caps, plain T-shirts, etc.)
–FANCY RESTAURANT: (1) Mystery Business Woman, 21+, any ethnicity, attractive. Be able to be professional and hold a business conversation. Business casual, dress or skirt you would wear to a business meeting.
(4) Restaurant Patrons, any age, any race, dressed in nice going out clothing.
WAREHOUSE: (2) Men – Any age and ethnicity, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, maybe work boots.
(2) Business Men – 20s-40s, any ethnicity, wearing THEIR OWN khaki’s or dress pants and a button down shirt (SUBMIT photos in khaki or dress pants and a button down)
