Open auditions for dancers and singer-dancers to join the award-winning touring production MJ The Illusion for its 2026 U.S. and Canada tour.
The production, which has been recognized with multiple awards including Best Tribute Show, Best Dance Troupe, Best Matinee Show, and Best New Show, recreates the energy of Michael Jackson’s Dangerous World Tour.
These auditions are for the show’s 2026 tour and performers who are auditioning must be OK with travel.
With the upcoming release of the Michael Jackson biopic, this is an opportunity to join a tour that continues to honor his music, movement, and influence. The production is seeking performers who excel in jazz, hip-hop, and commercial-style choreography and who can capture Michael Jackson’s signature energy and precision on stage. Tumbling and singing abilities are considered a plus.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, though performers 21 and older are preferred due to casino performances. A valid passport is required for touring. Professionalism, reliability, and performance readiness are essential.
This is a paid contract covering performances throughout the U.S. and Canada, along with a Branson residency. Rehearsals will be held in December in Branson, Missouri.

Audition preperation:
Dancers should bring a headshot, résumé, dance sneakers or jazz shoes, water, and comfortable rehearsal attire.
Singers should prepare an uptempo pop song to perform live.
