Casting Call for “Suburban Psycho” – Charleston, SC Area
An new project currently filming under the working title “Suburban Psycho” is now casting paid background actors in and around the Charleston, South Carolina area. This is a great opportunity for locals interested in being part of a professional film production. Directed by a notable filmmaker, all extras will be selected via photo approval.
Production will take place in areas surrounding Charleston such as Moncks Corner, Summerville, and Goose Creek, so reliable transportation and flexibility with shoot times (day, night, and partial day/night shoots) are key.
Casting Needs:
All submissions will be considered generally first so the Director can assign roles as needed. If you only want to be considered for a specific role, please clearly state that in your submission.

FINAL Filming NEEDS…
MONDAY 6/2
* 5-6 Closed Case Film Crew Types ( Think News station or Film Crew looking types).
Submit with heading 6/2 Film Crew Avail
* 1 African American MALE rear end double for a cast member. Must be ok showing such, Will not see their face.
Submit with heading 6/2 Body Double.
TUESDAY 6/3 – Flashback scenes 1995.
* 2 1995 Detectives. One of which will be portraying a younger version of someone and will be photo selected by Director. That Detective should be late 20’s – 30’s.
* 5 1995 Police Officers – should not have visible tattoos in a short sleeve shirt. We should be getting available uniform sizes later today.
*1 1995 Coroner – Director will photo select this person.
1 Dead Body -. Caucasian Male , Middle Aged. Director will photo select this person.
ALL submitting for 6/3 should SUBMIT with heading 6/3 AVAIL.
If only interested in being considered for a specific role, include such in the heading. EXAMPLE 6/3 POLICE.

PAY RATE for this project is $112 for the day.
No travel expenses are paid. Anyone agreeing to work must work as a local hire.
Filming for these scenes will take place in the Moncks Corner area.

REMINDER OF THE HOURS….an Estimated 4:30 PM on Friday and could be filming until 4:30 AM Saturday morning. These are just estimated times at this point. Anyone agreeing to film must be 100% available and willing to work such hours.
