Ovation’s Summer 2025 Production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Audition registration is officially open for Ovation’s summer musical production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame! Performers ages 17 and up are invited to audition for either a lead onstage role, a featured choir role, or to be considered for both.

About the Show:
With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Peter Parnell, this powerful stage adaptation is based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel and features songs from Disney’s animated film along with stunning new compositions.
The story follows Quasimodo, the isolated bell-ringer of Notre Dame, who dreams of experiencing life “Out There.” When he defies his oppressive guardian, Frollo, to attend the Feast of Fools, he crosses paths with the kind-hearted and courageous Esmeralda. But as both Captain Phoebus and Frollo become entangled in their obsession with her, Quasimodo must choose between loyalty and justice to protect the Roma community she belongs to.
