Sundog Theatre, Staten Island’s celebrated performing arts company, has announced auditions for its signature production “Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry”.
Now in its long-running tradition, “Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry” is a collection of original short plays set on the iconic ferry that connects Staten Island and Manhattan. Each year, the production features new stories written by playwrights from across the country, exploring the humor, drama, and humanity that unfolds during the daily commute. The result is a uniquely local yet universally relatable experience that celebrates life in New York City.
Sundog Theatre is seeking 8 men and 4 women, ages 20s to 50s, for this year’s two-week production process. All roles are paid.

Noble Maritime Museum, 1000 Richmond Rd (Snug Harbor). 6-9pm.
Need short monologue & pic/resume. If you’ve been in ferry plays previously, you will read from sides.
This is a 2-week process. Paid.
