The award-winning team behind The Dog House are developing a touching new television project all about childhood friendships — and they are inviting children from the West Country to get involved.
The pilot, being produced by Five Mile Films, will explore the ups and downs of making friends at a young age. Producers are looking for children aged 5–8 years old, both those who find it easy to connect with others and those who could use a little extra support building friendships.
This is a lovely opportunity for children to take part in a heartwarming story that highlights kindness, connection, and confidence. The pilot is non-broadcast and will be filmed in Bristol this August, as part of development work for what may become a full television series.
