LOCAL ADULT AUDITIONS FOR 2026-27 SEASON

Audition Dates: March 6 & 7, 2026
We will be hosting auditions at the Derby Dinner Rehearsal Studio. For more details about this in-person audition and to sign up for an audition slot, please click the Sign-Up Genius link here:

You must reserve a spot through the link above to audition. No walk-in auditions.
Must be 18 or older to sign up for a slot.
Must be available for rehearsal and performances during the day and evenings.
This audition is intended for new-to-Derby Dinner actors, actors who haven’t worked with us, or actors who haven’t worked with us for some time. We will have targeted, invited callbacks for specific shows as needed.
If you are not able to join us for this audition, you may submit a video audition following the directions below.
To Prepare:
Please prepare about a minute and a half of material. You can sing, do a monologue or do a little bit of each. We just ask that you keep it around 90 seconds. Our musical director for the mainstage, Scott Bradley, will be playing for us. If you are singing, please bring sheet music that is clearly marked where he should begin and end for your song. You will have a moment to go over your musical selection start/stop, tempo etc with Scott before beginning. Please also bring a headshot and resume. No tracks for this audition.
On Saturday, March 7, there will be a brief, invited dance call on Saturday at 4PM. We will let you know after your audition if you are called back to dance. We won’t need to see everyone, and you can still audition even if you are not available for that dance call.
Our rehearsal hall is located in the large red building behind the red brick house at 401 Newman Avenue (Clarksville, IN) on the street beside Derby Dinner Playhouse. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your assigned time slot and come directly to the rehearsal studio. (Do not go to the Playhouse.)
