CASTING: COMEDIAN / MC – COMEDY WINE TASTING (ATLANTA)
TBA Casting is seeking an Atlanta-based comedian / MC with scripted comedy experience (sketch, stand-up, or character work) to host a 70-minute live comedy experience paired with a guided wine tasting.
An Idiot’s Guide to Wine: is a hilarious comedy show paired with six different wine varietals from around the globe. The performer will lead audiences through the tasting, blending stand-up comedy, storytelling, audience interaction, and fun, accessible wine facts. Improv and comedy writing experience are a plus.
Performers of any gender or ethnicity are encouraged to apply
Minimum age: 25 | English-speaking
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong on-stage presence and comedy performance experience
Comfortable learning and performing a 70-minute script
Basic wine knowledge or curiosity
Willing to attend a show the afternoon of Saturday 1/31 to gauge interest
Wine qualification (e.g., WSET) strongly preferred; production will provide a 1-day online training course if needed.
COMPENSATION
$800 per show day
$1,000 stipend for prep work
