Casting Alert: Extras Needed for “911: Nashville” in TN

9-1-1 Nashville is now filming and casting directors are seeking area locals to work as paid extras on the show.

Casting directors at JA are actively seeking local residents to work as paid background actors. This new chapter in the 9-1-1 franchise airs on ABC and streams on Hulu.

The Show:

Set in the heart of one of America’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities, 911: Nashville follows the lives of first responders—firefighters, police officers, paramedics and the dramatic stories of their families. The series explores themes of courage, sacrifice, and the human spirit, all with the unique backdrop of Nashville’s iconic music scene and Southern charm.

The series features a star-studded cast including Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The show was created by 9-1-1 and Glee masterminds Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Brad Falchuk, and is executive produced by a powerhouse team including Angela Bassett and Rashad Raisani.

JA Casting is seeking the following:

NASHVILLE AREA CASTING CALL – BACKGROUND TALENT
PROJECT: 911 NASHVILLE (20th Century Television)
TYPE: Non-Union Background Work
LOCATION: Nashville, TN — and surrounding areas (Local Hires Only)

DATE:
Monday, August 17th
Tuesday, August 18th
Wednesday, August 19th
Thursday, August 20th

WHO:
Looking for 2 MALES 25-50 years of age to play nurses.
*MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL 4 DAYS

PAY RATE:
$100/8hrs ($12/50p/h 8 hour guarantee + time and a half after) Must be able to commit to being on set 12+ hours. We may not need you that long, but must be able to commit to that. I WILL NOT HAVE THE CALL TIME UNTIL THE AFTERNOON PRIOR. Must be available regardless of call time.

Individuals holding employer-specific nonimmigrant work visas (e.g., O-1, P-1, H-1B, etc.) sponsored by an agent or another employer cannot be considered. Looking all genders 25-65 years of age to play flight crew, detectives, travelers, etc. We will place you in the role we think you’d fit the best. Some of you will be playing multiple roles this day.

PAY RATE:
$100/8hrs ($12/50p/h 8 hour guarantee + time and a half after) Must be able to commit to being on set 12+ hours. We may not need you that long, but must be able to commit to that. I WILL NOT HAVE THE CALL TIME UNTIL THE AFTERNOON PRIOR. Must be available regardless of call time.
