Cleveland Shakespeare Festival Holding Auditions for Actors

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is seeking actors for a touring show.

Please note this is for a touring show which will include some travel. This Shakespearean theater company performs summer shows across various “Theatre in the Park” locations in the area. The shows are mostly summer productions performed across the Cleveland area parks.

Actor auditions are being held online for 2 Shakespearean shows.  Online Auditions are open for Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors” and “Richard III.”

Auditions are being held online for submissions from the actors who are interested. Callbacks, however, will be held in person in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Seeking Actors:

  • Please prepare a video submission of two contrasting classical monologues, at least one of which being Shakespearean. Please keep videos to a maximum of 3 minutes. Video auditions are accepted as an UNLISTED YouTube link.
  • All roles are open and paid a stipend to the actor upon completion of last performance.
  • Please note we cannot offer AEA contracts or housing at this time.

Upload a video of two contrasting monologues. (see above for the website and informational links)

If only auditioning for a single production, only one monologue is needed per audition.
