Doggie auditions in Los Angeles for small, well trained dogs.
This is to appear in a paid commercial shooting in mid March during the week of the 16th. Dogs must have prior on set experience and be comfortable working in a professional studio environment with close human interaction. Breeds such as Westies, French Bulldogs, Pugs, Yorkies, and other small breeds are welcome, as long as the dog is confident, calm, and responsive.
Ideal dogs will have polite leash manners and be able to remain steady on set with solid commands including sit, stay, and down. They should reliably make eye contact with a person and be comfortable resting their head or chin on an object or human. Dogs must also be comfortable with close contact such as head to head positioning, nose to nose interaction, and hugs.
Additional skills like holding and handing over a toy, taking a bow, jumping on cue, head tilts, or giving a paw are a plus but not required.
Filming is planned for the Greater Los Angeles Area. Local Los Angeles dogs are preferred, though a hotel can be provided if needed. Actors in the LA area who would like to submit with their own pet are welcome to do so as a package.
