Norwegian AURA Auditions Dancers and Singers in Los Angeles.
Norwegian Cruises casting directors will be coming to Los Angeles shortly to hold auditions for performers to join their AT SEA shows.

Norwegian Cruise Line is casting dancers, singers and specialty vocalists for original mainstage productions aboard the new Norwegian AURA. The shows will include a concert-style production centered around the musical legacy of a well-known artist, similar to the line’s previous productions celebrating Prince and Elton John.

Dancers:
The dancer open call takes place September 19. Sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m., with auditions starting at 10 a.m. No pre-registration is required and perfortheatermers will be seen in the order they arrive. Callbacks will be held that afternoon.
Production dancers should have strong technical training and be versatile in commercial jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. Partnering, lifting and being lifted are required. Tumbling or acrobatic skills are a plus. Some dancers may receive aerial training during rehearsals.
Female-identifying dancers should be prepared to dance in heels and flats, while male-identifying dancers should bring sneakers and jazz shoes. Bring a hard copy of your headshot and resume and wear form-fitting dance attire.
Singers and Specialty Vocalists:
Specialty vocalists and production singers will audition September 20 by appointment. The production is seeking charismatic performers with strong vocal abilities and stage presence.
Specialty vocalists should be mature BIPOC singers who can portray the vocal range and energy of iconic artists, with strong belting or tenor abilities and experience in pop, gospel and R&B.
Production singers should have strong contemporary pop, rock and R&B skills, including high belting or tenor/baritenor vocals, tight harmonies and the ability to move or dance well.
All performers must be at least 18.
Contract Details:
Dancer rehearsals are scheduled to begin around November 9, 2026, with a holiday break from December 20 through January 10. Rehearsals resume January 11. Specialty vocalist rehearsals begin around January 11, while singer rehearsals begin around February 8.
The cast is scheduled to board the Norwegian AURA around February 22, 2027, for a six- to seven-month contract. The itinerary will include the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
Pay is listed at $1,730 per week for specialty vocalists, $1,200 per week for singers and $1,000 per week for dancers while onboard. Travel to Tampa for rehearsals, to the ship and home at the end of the contract will be provided. Cast members will also receive single-occupancy cabins.

SPECIALTY VOCALISTS & PRODUCTION SINGERS – September 20, 2026
By Appointment Only.Seeking Production Dancers and Singers as well as Specialty Vocalists for original mainstage productions debuting onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest vessel, the Norwegian AURA. One show will be a concert/Las Vegas residency-style experience centered around a well-known artist’s musical legacy. This brand-new “Concert Show” will follow in the footsteps of Revolution: A Celebration of Prince on the Norwegian AQUA and Elton: A Celebration of Elton John on the Norwegian LUNA.
In addition to mainstage performances, cast members will also participate in and/or cover for other various entertainment offerings such as Welcome Aboard Show, nightclub events, parties, and/or other experiences.

Travel will be provided to Tampa for rehearsal, to the ship, and home at the end of the contract. Cast members will be provided with a single occupancy cabin onboard (including dancers). Cast will be Crew Members with no cruise staff duties outside of the performance schedule.
SPECIALTY VOCALISTS
Female and Male identifying Vocalists. Mature BIPOC singers who read late 20s to 40s. Seasoned vocalist entertainers able to embody the range of an iconic artist such as Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox, and Jennifer Hudson or Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross, or Billy Porter. High belters and tenors with strong head voice and falsetto extensions who excel in pop, gospel, and R&B styles. Lead energy and star quality a must. Must move or dance well.
SINGERS
Female and male identifying singers. Charismatic entertainers with wide ranges who are able move or dance well. High belters and tenors/baritenors with strong head voice and falsetto extensions who excel in contemporary pop, rock, and R&B styles. Command and star quality a must. Ability to hold tight harmonies a must. Movement/dance skills a plus. All ethnicities.

PRODUCTION DANCERS
Female identifying Dancers 5’5 to 5’8. Male identifying Dancers 5’9 to 6’2. Athletic, dynamic, versatile dancers with strong technical foundation, trained in a wide range of styles spanning commercial jazz to contemporary to hip-hop. The ability to partner and lift or be lifted a must. The ability to engage with an audience and tell a story a must. Tumbling/acro a plus. Singing is not required. Certain dancers will be trained in various aerial skills during the rehearsal process . All ethnicities.
