Performers in the San Antonio area have a chance to audition for Norwegian Cruises.
An open call for dancers, vocalists, and singer-dancers is scheduled for this month.
No pre-registration is required as this is an open audition.
The cruise line casting team is seeking tenor and baritenor vocalists in their 20s to 30s, 5’8 to 6’2, as well as mezzo belters in their 20s to 30s, 5’3 to 5’9. Singers / Vocalists should be dynamic performers comfortable across genres including pop, rock, R&B, Motown, and contemporary musical theatre.
Strong movement ability is required, and select singers will be asked to stay for a dance portion. Vocalists must prepare two songs from the provided selections and bring a current headshot and resume. Female-identifying vocalists should also bring heels for the dance segment if invited.
Production dancers are also needed, including female-identifying performers 5’3 to 5’9 and male-identifying performers 5’9 to 6’2. The team is looking for strong, athletic dancers with solid training in commercial jazz, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Tap is a plus. Female-identifying dancers should be prepared to perform in both heels and flats, and all dancers should be ready to learn multiple combinations.

Dancer sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m., and vocalists can sign in starting at 12:30 p.m. Talent will be seen in the order they arrive.
Location: Earle Cobb Dance Studio, 4278 Lockhill Selma in San Antonio.
Singer-dancers in their 20s to 30s are encouraged to attend as well. These performers must complete the production dancer call and demonstrate strong vocal ability, including harmonies and featured solos. Those who advance will receive self-tape callback instructions with vocal material.
All performers must be at least 18 years old to audition.
