A casting call is looking to highlight real connections between mothers and the people they’ve helped raise.
Please note that this is specific to the New York Tri-State area ONLY!
This is a paid project and those cast will be paid $500 for filming + $500 for usage.
GENUINE is currently seeking a wide range of mother figures and their children for an upcoming social media campaign centered on authentic relationships and everyday stories.
The search includes biological moms, stepmothers, foster moms, aunts, and mentors, along with children between the ages of 10 and 25. Casting is open to all backgrounds, ethnicities, and abilities, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity. Families who communicate using sign language, as well as those who are bilingual or multilingual, are especially encouraged to submit.

Selected participants will be featured in the campaign and receive $500 for the filming day along with an additional $500 for usage. The project will film in the Tri-State area, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, and both the mother figure and child must be available to appear together in person.
The goal is to capture real, meaningful dynamics between mothers and their children, celebrating the different ways families are built and the bonds that define them.
