NYC Casting Call for Visually Impaired Talent – Movie Project

Grant Wilfley Casting is currently seeking background talent for an upcoming feature film directed by Martin Scorsese.

The production will be filming in New York City in May 2026 and is looking for individuals to portray blind or visually impaired characters in various scenes. People of all types, ethnicities, and genders are encouraged to submit.

This is a SAG AFTRA covered background role and pays the union rate of 234 dollars for eight hours. All work is subject to the SAG AFTRA collective bargaining agreement and preference of employment provisions. Those selected must be able to present valid identification in order to complete federal employment paperwork and receive payment.

Interested individuals should submit by email ( Please see the casting notice below) and Submissions should include your name, phone number, whether you are a SAG AFTRA member in good standing or non union, confirmation of full day availability in May, and whether you are local to the New York City area. If selected, applicants should also note whether they would be accompanied by a guide dog or another person acting as a guide. Non professional photos should be attached with no filters, hats, or heavy styling.
