WICKED Open Call in the Los Angeles area.
If you can dance and have always dreamed of landing a role in a major Broadway show, read on.
The auditions are for dancers who would like to tryout for either the Broadway show or the National Touring company.
“Wicked” is a re-telling of the L. Frank Baum’s classic story “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
“Wicked” is based on the Gregory Maguire novel “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.”
The musical theater project will be in Los Angeles later this month and the casting directors for “Wicked” are seeking dancers with strong ballet and Jazz technique. The show is being choreographed by Wayne Cilento which is described as edgy and contemporary.
While the Broadway show auditions are primarily for dancers, the audition notice states that dancers may be also asked to sing…this is a musical.

WICKED The Musical will be hosting an in-person invited dance call on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Los Angeles.
Seeking dancers who sing, ages 18+, any ethnicity, any gender, who have strong ballet/jazz technique for Wayne Cilento’s edgy, contemporary choreography, for ensemble roles.You do not need to be a member of Actors’ Equity or SAG to submit. Dancers without talent representation are strongly encouraged to submit. Performers of all races and genders are encouraged to submit. Authorization to legally work in the United States is required.
In order to be considered, please submit the following materials:
- Current headshot and updated resume, including height, cell phone number, and email address.
- A viewable (Google Drive, YouTube, Dropbox) link to your dance reel or two dance clips showcasing your technique and style. We are not able to download files.
The auditions for the hit musical “Wicked” are coming to Los Angeles.
All ethnicities are welcome to apply and the age range the show is looking for is 18 to 30s. The show is looking for equity performers as well as non-equity performers.
