Singers for The “Star Spangled Sing Off” – A Capella – Nationwide

A Capella singers for a America 250 Production needs submissions from singers.

A new nationwide singing competition is giving performers the chance to showcase their rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on television stations across the country.

This opened a few days back and submissions are being taken until the end of this month for amazing A capella singers. Seems that this is a production for the 250th anniversary of US. Furthermore… the sing-off is a contest to perform in a production that will air nationwide.  This is open nationwide and the best singer will get a trip to Nashville to record their rendition.

Audition tapes are being done online.  This is being advertised by a WBTV and promoted as the “Star Spangled Sing Off.”

Online auditions for singers:

The Gig – Gray Media and WBTV have launched the Star-Spangled Sing-Off, inviting Americans to submit solo a cappella performances of the National Anthem for a chance to win a major prize.

The contest officially opens May 1, with submissions accepted through May 31. Contestants must submit a complete solo performance video, and after the entry period closes, viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite local and regional singers.

The grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Nashville to film a featured performance that will air on WBTV and other Gray Media stations nationwide. The final winner is expected to be announced on July 2, just ahead of the country’s 250th birthday celebrations.

According to Gray Media Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Sandy Breland, the competition is designed to spotlight communities and uncover new talent during a major moment in American history.
