HCT Announces Auditions for ANNIE

Leapin Lizards! HARTFORD CHILDREN’S THEATRE (360 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT) announces auditions for ANNIE, the second production of the 2010-2011 Family Main Stage Series “Pure Imagination.” Auditions will take place, by appointment only, on Sunday, October 24 from 11 am to 3 pm and Monday, October 25 from 6 to 9 pm at HCT’s Carriage House Theatre. Under the direction of HCT Artistic Director Ryan Ratelle, performances of ANNIE will take place January 7 through January 17, 2011.
Roles are available for Girls ages 8 – 12 as well as Teenagers & Adults age 13 and up. There are two roles available for Girls ages 6 – 7. Audition sides are available online at www.hartfordchildrenstheatre.org. Stipends are available for adult performers. Performers should come prepared dance a short combination (as taught by the choreographer) and to sing 16 measures of an appropriate song of their choosing. You must provide sheet music for the accompanist. Girls should not to sing from the ANNIE score that this call.
