Disney Open Auditions – Dance – Disney Casting Male and Female Dancers For Walt Disney World performances of “The Lion King” and “Beauty and the Beast” Auditions will be held 3/23/2010 in Boston
Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking male and female dancers for Festival of the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.
Dancers employed with the Walt Disney World Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement with Actors’ Equity Association.
Seeking the following roles:
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Dancers – Male and Female dancers that have strong ballet technique and are well versed in musical theatre style dance; acting ability a plus; must be able to lip synch.
Females 5’6″-5’9″ and Males 5’10”-6’2″.
Festival of the Lion King
Maji – Female dancer 5’1″ to 5’4″ with excellent ballet technique, strong partnering skills and the ability to perform at heights. Must weigh less than 115lbs.
Moto – Male dancer 5’10”-6’2″, with excellent ballet technique, lift/partnering skills and strong athletic build.

Requirements:
Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
Please provide a current headshot and resume.
All dancers will be taught a ballet routine. Selected dancers will move on to advanced and challengeing jazz.
Dancers should be warmed up and ready to begin at the time listed. Please wear form fitting attire to show your silhouette. Please wear appropriate ballet/jazz shoes. STREET SHOES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO. NO HEELS IN STUDIO.
Advanced registration is not required.
