Miami City Ballet is now accepting DVDs/videos, photos and resumes as pre-auditions for the upcoming 2010-2011 Season. We are seeking corps dancers and one male principal dancer. We anticipate offering contracts for approximately 40 weeks of work.
Body types
Body types are slender but there are no height requirements. Artistic Director Edward Villella looks for dancers with the ability to move with quickness in a neo-classic manner.
Length of Contract
Generally there is a guarantee of 38 to 40 weeks, with an option for additional touring weeks. Miami City Ballet is not an A.G.M.A. company but we use the A.G.M.A. contract as a guideline.
