Casting call for Tyler Perry show filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
Tyler Perry has struck a new deal with Netflix for a new show that will be coming to the streaming network. Actor, writer and producer, Tyler Perry is bringing a new drama series to Netflix called “Beauty in Black.” Season 1 of the hour-long drama is scheduled for 16 episodes and is filming in the Atlanta area.
The story revolves around the lives of two women, Kimmie and Mallory, who are diametrically opposite in their circumstances. Kimmie grapples with the challenges of survival after being disowned by her mother, while Mallory thrives as a successful entrepreneur. As fate intervenes, their paths intertwine and of course, some drama happens.

The description on the IMDB page reads as follows: Two women with contrasting lives become connected. One fights for survival after her mother forces her out while the other runs a prosperous company.
Angi Bones and Tony Strickland are set to join Tyler Perry Studios as producers for the series.
Perry has multiple projects out on Netflix which include “Mea Culpa,” a crime thriller headlined and produced by Kelly Rowland. A movie titled “Six Triple Eight,” featuring Kerry Washington and a slew of other projects including his 12th “Madea” movie. Tyler Perry is most definitely, a busy man.
This is filming in the Atlanta area so be sure to only apply for the roles if you are local to Atlanta and travel is not covered for extras.
