UCF Casting for Pembroke Circle

Hello,
My name is Katherine Fischer and I’m Co-Producing an upcoming UCF M.F.A. graduate film entitled “Pembroke Circle.” We are preparing to shoot a scene from the film and are looking to cast for four different roles.
Auditions will be held on December 10th in downtown Orlando and December 17th in Miami. Below is the character breakdown along with a synopsis of the film. If you could pass this on to any interested talent, we would greatly appreciate it.

Synopsis – Grace, a 16-year-old suburbanite, develops suspicions that the young Hispanic Maid, Mariela, who is living and working in her house under a cultural exchange might be enslaved by her father and a victim of human trafficking.
Character: Mariela
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Hispanic
Physical Requirements: Slender
Character Description: Mariela came to the US from Honduras in the hopes of finding work and was falsely promised decent wages and a secure job. Through coercion, she ended up being sold as a domestic slave. She has lived under the psychological and physical abuse of her captor for almost two years. Though uneducated, she was a vivacious, warm and captivating person to be around prior to coming to the States. She plays folk and classical songs on the guitar well. She has become enigmatic and empty due to the abuse, almost as if her soul has been taken from her. Her flaws are that she is gullible and naive.
Requirements: Must speak Spanish fluently.
Character: Marcos
Age: 16

Character Description: Marcos lives with his parents in an affluent South Florida community (Pembroke Circle). He has had a very comfortable upbringing though his parents never let him forget where his family came from, thus he is anything but snobbish. He is very mature for his age. His best friend puts him down frequently. What he lacks in confidence, he makes up for with his sweetness. He is a hopeless romantic and has a crush on Grace. He is dying for a chance to prove himself and show his inner-courage.

Age: 7
Gender: Male
Race: Caucasian
Physical Requirements: Slender
Character Description: Matthew is a young fragile boy. He suffers from night terrors and hasn’t progressed as fast as most boys his age. His older sister behaves like a surrogate mother to him (His real mother passed away soon after giving birth to him). Despite being high-maintenance, he is precocious, disarming and sweet.

Age: 47
Race: Caucasian
Physical Requirements: Average
Character Description: On the outside, Leigh appears to be an all-American family man. He is supportive of his daughter’s ambitions and works hard to support the household as a single parent. He is a well-respected Professor (of Botany & Agricultural Studies) as well as an agricultural consultant known for his research in the Lake Okeechobee region. However, he hides a very sadistic dark side from the world. His work has allowed him to purchase a domestic slave, Mariela. The power he has over her has severely corrupted him. He physically, sexually and mentally abuses her. He is a sexual deviant who has had been plagued with awful urges his entire life. He is charming, smart, devious and domineering.
