Now casting for the Warner Bros. / DC Comic feature Film Superman Man of Steel.
Casting directors are seeking extras in the Vancouver area to work on set in British Columbia in October or other days during the winter. The film is currently shooting in The U.S. (Chicago) and will be heading to Vancouver late September.
Superman: Man of Steel will be coming out in 2012 and and has a star studded cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner as Jon Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Julio Ormond, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue and many others.
Superman Man of Steel is seeking locals who would like to appear in the film as background in scenes to be filmed in early October. All extras will be paid. The time commitment for anyone wanting to be an extra will be minimal, most extras will work one or two days.
Superman Man of Steel will be filming in Vancouver this winter and into early 2012.
About the movie:
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. Seeking extras of all ages over 18, sorry no children are needed for the Nanaimo call however a few may be needed for Ucuelet.
Casting directors need both men and women and are especially interested in older character faces and those who could be passed off as loggers for Nanaimo and commercial fishermen in Ucluelet.
All applicants must be legal residents of Canada.
