The Amazing Race tryouts for 2012 season are coming to Colorado. The Amazing Race is seeking teams to compete on the hit CBS reality show. ‘The Amazing Race’ is a reality TV competition that challenges teams to get to various destinations around the world before their opponents on the other teams.
The teams complete challenges to find out what the destination is and how they are going to get there. Teams get eliminated from the show for reaching the destination last and the team that reaches the final destination on the show will win a huge cash prize.
Producers are looking for teams of 2 that share an existing relationship. That relationship can be almost anything, brother / sister, husband / wife, friends, co-workers, mother / daughter, etc.
The casting call for ‘The Amazing Race’ will be held in Colorado this month and casting directors have stated that they will only see the first 200 teams that show up and line up.
Casting directors will also not allow anyone to spend the night at the casting venue or line up before 8 AM. Casting will begin at noon so plan on standing in line for the entire morning. Dress for the weather and be sure to bring some drinks and snacks for the wait.
