RepAlliance at Kentucky Repertory Theatre in Horse Cave, KY (75 miles south of Louisville) is holding non-Equity auditions for LOMBARDI by Eric Simonson on May 22, 2012 at Kentucky Repertory Theatre in Horse Cave. LOMBARDI is directed by Larry Mabrey and RepAlliance producer is Ken Hailey. Auditions are by appointment only from 10 am – 4 pm. Please prepare a one-minute contemporary monologue and you may be asked to do cold readings from the script.
LOMBARDI rehearses at Kentucky Rep beginning June 19 and runs July 6 – 22 with performances Fridays – Sundays. Non-Equity actors receive a stipend.
Roles:
Michael McCormick – sports writer for LOOK Magazine. Smart, passionate about Vince Lombardi and professional football. 25 – 35
Paul Hornung – Packers running back. Golden boy, veteran who just loves to play the game. 25 – 35
Dave Robinson – Packers outside linebacker. Been with the team two seasons and is the Players’ Association Representative. African-American. 20 – 30
Jim Taylor – Packers powerful fullback. Surly; a veteran athlete with a chip on his shoulder. 25 – 35
The roles of Vince Lombardi and Marie Lombardi are cast.
