Actors, singers, & dancers wanted!
Who can audition?
Anyone ages 12 & up. Children younger than 12 may audition for Michael or Jane Banks, but if not cast in one of those roles, they will not be able to participate this time. Children normally need to be at least 12 before they can audition.

When is the show?
September 6 – 9, 2018 with five performances:
September 6 & 7 at 7:00pm, September 8 at 2:00 & 7:00pm, & September 9 at 2:00pm
ACTORS:
All actors auditioning should prepare a short monologue (2-3 minutes) that they find either online or from some other source and a song of their choice (average length is 3-4 minutes, but you may not need to sing the entire song) with accompaniment CD or mobile device. Actors may also choose to provide their own live accompaniment (a piano is available). Both should be memorized. Monologues and songs do not have to be from “Mary Poppins”, but should show a range of emotions and skill (you do not need to provide copies of your monologue or song). Actors will do some dance choreography as part of the show, but do not need to include dance in their audition.
DANCERS:
Individuals may also audition for our Dancers category. These are actors who only wish to participate in large dance scenes as a variety of characters to add dancing strength to our ensemble, who will also be dancing. Rehearsals for Dancers will be specific to dance scenes only. Those who solely want to dance must complete a dance audition on April 14 or 15 along with the other actors (other actors do not need to do a dance audition, but may do so if they desire more challenging dance assignments.) While Dancers will “sing along” while dancing, they will not wear a microphone, but will primarily serve as a dancer. Dance-only actors should learn the dance taught and demonstrated in the online video for their audition.
Audition dates: Saturday, April 14 (10:00am-2:00pm) & Sunday, April 15 (1:00-5:00pm)
