Casting Call for “Persons of Interest”
Independent Feature “Persons of Interest” will be filming in Fall ’10 in Southern Ohio. Please send all serious inquiries to SeanR.films@Gmail.com. Resumes, head shots and portfolios are welcome. We will be accepting inquiries until the middle of August. Auditions will be held in August.
Plot
The film is a psychological thriller inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window” and “Vertigo,” Michelangelo Antonioni’s “Blow Up,” and Brian DePalma’s “Blow Out.” Quinn Robinson he pulls up a map on a satellite imaging website. He sees an open field, and upon further inspection, a dead body. With the help of his wife Maggie Robinson, he uncovers the truth behind a mysterious murder that took place years ago. Along the way they also uncover a truth about themselves.
Principle characters
Quinn Robinson- late 20s, White, average height and build. Generally dissatisfied with where he’s at in his life. Hates his job, but loves his wife. Is quickly dragged into this mystery and eventually cannot let go until it’s solved.
Maggie Robinson- Late 20s, White, brunette, slender build, upbeat, professional career woman. She loves Quinn more than anything, but feels him drifting away and is willing to do anything to reconnect with her husband.
Supporting cast
Clarence Watts- Late 30s, white, stocky build, down beat personality. He appears to most an average blue collar guy. Enjoys hunting and being outside. But there is a tinge of something else in his eyes, something darker.
George Hurbert- Late 40s, white, average build, manic personality. George is an obsessive compulsive. He’s a bit of a local character seen consistently walking around town with various flowers in his hands. He’s quiet and keeps to himself mostly.
Charlie Edwards- Late 30s, white, skinny, looks like an aging punk rocker. Charlie has a very volatile personality. He is quick to anger and the first to turn to violence. He’s been in and out of jail his whole life.
Tracy- 20 something, white, slender, street smart girl that has a hard time trusting people.
