UK Disney Auditions – Disney open call for male dancers in the UK, the location of the open call is London, England – The Walt Disney Company is now casting dancers for their Tokyo park. Auditions will be held March 11 2010 in London, England. Disney is seeking male ballet and jazz dancers for the show.
Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Dancers for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
Six to eight month contracts begin August/September 2010.
Performers receive $740 – $760 (US dollars) per week (depending on role and show), per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
Casting these roles:
Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 5’9”+, Females 5’3”-5’6”, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Male Ballet Dancers: 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
Athletic Dancers with Exotic Look: Males 5’6”+, Females 5’1”-5’7”, exotic looking, athletic with strong physiques for a lavish multi-sensory production exploring the “Mystic Rhythms” of a tropical rainforest, females also do aerial work and must have strong abdominal/back muscles and beautiful port de bras. ($740 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem) Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 5’9”+, trained in jazz and tap with exceptional charisma and stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African American and/or solo dancers. ($760 U.S. dollars per week plus per diem)
