Do you love food, cooking and competing? Here’s your chance to audition to be on The Food Network and get a cooking show of your own.
The popular Food Network series will be holding nationwide open calls in the months of August and September 2011.
This is what we’re looking for:
• Cooking know-how: You can be self-taught or professionally trained or somewhere in between, but you should know your way around the kitchen.
• Personality that pops: Let yourself shine and tell us who you really are. Don’t be shy. We are all about personality, so show us yours!
• Teaching skills: You bring the world of food and cooking to life in your very own passionate and unique way.

I’m interested in castings in South Florida. My children and I enjoy all the food network shows. We all love to cook. I have been passing down my cooking secrets to them since and early age. It would be awesome if you have a show with mom and kids cooking together. We would really rock that opportunity. My daughter is 26 and my son is 14 and I can sincerely say we are good cooks with very unique personalities. Please let me know if something like this ever comes up for us to compete.
