Synopsis:
When Milly thinks she has the opportunity to leave waitressing behind and pursue her dream of being an actress in New York, she realizes that leaving behind her brother and the family vestige they’re attached too will be harder than she thought.
Character Breakdowns:
Milly: Female, 24-28 years old, brunette. Stuck in an “in-between-place” in her life, Milly is tempted by the offer to go to New York, but realizes she can’t just pick up and leave.
James: Male, early – mid 30s, shabby and introverted. James lives in the basement of his sister Milly’s apartment. He is unemployed and not worried about it.
Craig: Male, mid – late 30s, tall and handsome. Craig is the charismatic and outgoing theatre director that believes Milly has what it takes to make it in New York as a successful actress.
