“Blind Date”
Romantic Comedy Short, 10 – 12 minutes
Producer and Director: Jazzmin B. Holmes

“Blind Date” is a comedic story about a man and a woman going on a blind date. As we join them on their date, we get their true opinions from Isabella and David from the nervous butterflies to the awkward date to the random run in.

Seeking 2 Female and Male Roles:

Isabella – Lead Character
Mid 20’s. Hippie/Free spirit. Artistic and friendly.
Works at a San Francisco cafe. Writes poetry. Going on this blind date because she is tired of meaningless relationships.

David – Lead Character
Mid 20’s. Yuppie. Egotistical and sarcastic.
Works at an advertising firm in San Francisco. Going on this date because he is trying something new: the date and the girl.

Monica
Early 20’s. Student/Bartista. Honestly blunt and funny.
Works in the cafe with Isablla. Known Isabella for over a year.

Phil
Mid 20’s – Late 20’s. Yuppie/Athlete. “A man’s man.”
Works with David at the advertising firm. Known David sine David moved to San Francisco three and a half years ago.

Auditions will be held on 9/5, 9/7, 9/12, 9/14, 9/15.
Callbacks will be determined
Shoot Dates – late October – early November for 4 – 5 days

Please prepare a comedic monologue and be prepared to do a cold read. ?If unable to attend auditions, please email a reel of your work or comedic monologue attached with your headshot and resume.
