What: Casting Call for Short film – Split Decision
When: April 9th from 10am – 5pm
Where: Bethalto, IL.
What we’re looking for:
Jackson Davies:
Jackson is a tall, athletic, 30 year old middle school teacher who’s major hobby is Mixed Martial Arts. He has a strong attachment to many of his students and feels genuinely about his responsibility for their well-being.
Sofia Deren:
Sofia is a tall, thin middle school teacher who teaches 7th grade English. She is smart and witty in her conversations; what some would call sarcastic. She understands the importance of the education of the children she teaches and would do anything for any of them.
Addison:
Addison is a creatively minded 7th grader. He has a very mature and sophisticated taste in literature for his age. The pages of his notebooks not only contain notes and homework, but he fills the blank pages and margins with original stories of his own.
Bernie Walters
Bernie Walters, 31, doesn’t know a whole lot outside of a boxing gym. He graduated high school but never took his education any further. Immediately after high school, he began training full-time for a promising fighting career. He was supposed to be the next big thing. A cheap shot from a dirty-fighter, however, injures him beyond the ability to continue fighting. He began training up-and-coming fighters who had the potential to go pro.
Shooting Dates: April 28th-May 1st
